About the Founder & CEO...Doug Wright

Doug Wright's culinary experience started in Birmingham, Alabama in 1979, in his mother's kitchen, learning how different herbs, spices and seasonings enhanced the taste of food items being cooked. In 1994, he took his knowledge and cooking experience to the numerous United States Army Dining Facilities as a Culinary Specialist. His seasonings were used, in several dining facilities, to flavor numerous menu items and over a 20 year career, has enhanced his skill set and knowledge through schooling and mentorship. June 2020, after receiving many compliments and demands for his seasonings he launched his business, DougSalt All Purpose Seasonings, in Hope Mills, North Carolina to share what he created with the World.
